How long have you been in business?

All told, I have been in business for twenty-six years. I began working as a self-employed, freelance photographer, in 1995. I moved my business from Massachusetts to Tucson in 2004. Additionally, before going into business for myself, I worked for a studio for five years first. So, I am definitely not short on experience!

How long does the actual shoot take?

It varies, according to the package you choose. If you only need one edited headshot, as outlined in my package for $50, the actual photography time, averages slightly less than fifteen minutes. However, the overall length of each visit is about twice the photography time. That is because most people opt to take time to view their images and select the one(s) they want before they leave. This way customers leave feeling satisfied with their selection(s). In the event, a customer is not totally happy with any of the images from the first round of photos, I always allow enough time between my appointments for a second round of photos. The overall length of time with the $50 package, rarely ever exceeds thirty minutes. Packages of two headshots rarely take longer than forty-five minutes. The five headshots package can take up to seventy-five minutes.

What kind of payments do you accept?

You can pay with cash or check. Credit card payments can also be made, easily, through Paypal. I will email a Paypal invoice, which you can pay afterwards, from your home or work. That is the way half of my customers pay. Note, you do not need to have a Paypal account to make a payment.

How long does it take to get my images?

It depends on the amount of images you choose and the amount of editing I have to do. I will go over everything and let you know what to expect before you leave. In most cases, I can process at least one headshot for you in 24 hours or less.

Could you briefly explain the process that I can expect to go through, during my visit?

I would love to! After greeting you at the door, I will direct you to the changing room, where you can make apparel changes, comb your hair or whatever you need to do, before pictures. From there, you will take five steps into the photo room, for a first round of headshots.

After ten to fiftenn minutes of photography, we will upload and view the images on my desktop. More often than not, customers are happy with the first round results and select the images they want from this first batch. However, I always allow time for clients to opt for a second round of photos. A second round of photos result in more overall images to choose from.

Is it okay to bring someone with me?

Yes, it is. My clients often come with a family member or a friend, for support and help, in selecting their images.
