Wildlife photography is somewhat new to me. Hence, I do not have a very deep portfolio of images in this category. In the past, I never ventured out on the trails with the soul purpose of seeking and finding wildlife to photograph. My primary focus had always been in capturing landscapes. That changed somewhat earlier this year, when I bumped into a mule deer here, a coyote there and realized how much fun it was. Now, when lighting conditions aren’t exactly tailored made for landscapes, I redirect my focus towards capturing whatever type of fauna that happens to cross my path, specifically, mammals, reptiles, birds and butterflies. I’m not so much into the other insects, at least not yet. Realizing this gallery needs more imagery, the push is on to produce more photos of creatures from southern Arizona.
