Birds of Arizona

I am not a biologist or a bird expert. I’m just a photographer, who, in addition to photographing headshots and portraits, loves nature. I love photographing every element of it. Photographing birds is one of my latest fascinations, that started in early 2022. Ninety-five percent of the images in this gallery were captured, since then. Though some of the images here may have aestethic value, I do not really consider my Bird Gallery to be a work of art, not yet anyway. Right now, it’s a thrill just to be able to record images of birds of this region of Arizona. I find it especially exciting to capture images of birds that have been existing under our noses all along, but I’m finally getting a chance to see for the first time, through my photography. It’s a learn-as-you-go educational experience and a lot of fun. I’ll be updating and adding many new and improved photos of our feathered friends in the future. So stay tuned!

I wake up with the birds. I hike with the birds. Whether we are consciously paying attention to their harmony or not, birds soothe our souls in ways I’m not sure any of us fully understand. Just imagine how empty it would be to live in a world without that sound, their song. It’s high time for me to dig deeper and find out who these vocalists are.
